FILMS/MOVIES/GOING TO(PREDICTIONS)

Imagine during the exam you´ll say:Well I´like going to the cinema.And the examiner will ask you:

What kind of movies do you like seeing?Who´s your favourite actor/actress?Who´s your favorite director?.etc.,

Here´re some vocabulary:

Most of us we like going to the cinema or simply sit at home and watch nice movie on TV.But each of us we have our preferences.Some of us like watching comedies and action movies,others horror and science fiction or thriller or even cartoons, and we don´t want to forget about epic and romance.But also we like to go to the theatre and see plays.But in the process of making movie/film there are a lot of people and professions involved.

Let me give you some vocabulary related to this subject.I´ve already mentioned some types of story,but here´re other ones:

Detective film;Documentary film,Educational film,Full-length film,Western and so on.

Professions:Actor,Actress,Cameraman,Cast,Film Star,Screenwriter,Director,Producer,etc..

Film Quiz:

We all know the Movie/film Cleopatra.What´s going to happen to two main characters Marc Anthony and Cleopatra after death of Julius Cesar?

a The Romans are going to arrest Cleopatra

b Cleopatra and marc Anthony are going to become lovers.

c Marc Anthony is going to kill Cleopatra

Can you match the types of story with these meanings:

Now: Did you notice above I used several times: Going to...that refers to(predictions).Use going to..to predict the future based on what you can see.Example: He´s going to fall; I´m going to be late.They´re going to kiss.Are they going to kiss?
